CEO of 2 Medical City Healthcare hospitals departs for new role: 4 notes

Charles Gressle, CEO of Medical City Plano (Texas) and Medical City Frisco (Texas), is leaving the role, effective May 31, according to a Community Impact Newspaper report.

Medical City Frisco is a campus of Medical City Plano.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Gressle has been promoted to chief administrative officer of the East Florida division of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, parent company of Dallas-based Medical City Healthcare.

2. He has served as CEO of Medical City Plano since 2013.

3. He became CEO of Medical City Frisco in 2016, after HCA bought the hospital.

4. Mr. Gressle also has served as COO of Medical City Dallas Hospital and Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas.
