Mr. Mattingly announced his plans for retirement only two months into a 90-120 day leave he requested in February.
COO Menachem Langer, MD, who has been serving as interim CEO during Mr. Mattingly’s absence, has been named permanent CEO. Dr. Langer joined CRMC in Oct. 2010 after serving as executive director of hospital operations at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.
