Catholic Health Services selects Dr. Jason Golbin as chief quality officer: 4 things to know

Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health Services named Jason M. Golbin, DO, senior vice president and system chief quality officer.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Golbin is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at Old Westbury-based New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.

2. Most recently, he served as CMO as well as director of medical education for CHS’ St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown, N.Y.

3. Prior to that, he was associate director of critical care medicine for CHS’ Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, N.Y.

4. In his new role, Dr. Golbin will focus on developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives and providing onsite regulatory support.
