Catholic Health names chief quality and patient experience officer

Chhavi Katyal, MD, has been named chief quality and patient experience officer for Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health.

She joins the health system from The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in New York City, where she served as medical director, an Oct. 25 news release shared with Becker’s said.

“Dr. Katyal is a highly seasoned pediatric critical care physician with rich experience in executive leadership focused on quality,” said Jason Golbin, DO, Catholic Health’s executive vice president and CMO. “Her strong background in safety, patient experience and regulatory leadership will bring great strengths to Catholic Health.”

Dr. Katyal is also an associate professor in pediatrics at New York City-based Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
