Cartersville Medical Center names J. Christopher Mosley CEO: 5 points

Cartersville (Ga.) Medical Center tapped J. Christopher Mosley to serve as CEO, effective March 1.

1. Currently, Mr. Mosley serves as CEO at Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka, Fla.

2. His prior experience includes serving as COO at Orange Park (Fla.) Medical Center and vice president of operations at Summerville (S.C.) Medical Center.

3. He is involved in community activities and is a member of the Palatka Rotary Club as well as the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors.

4. Mr. Mosley has worked within Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, which owns both Cartersville and Putnam Community medical centers, since 2010.

5. He succeeds Keith Sandlin, who retired.
