Carson Tahoe Health CEO to retire: 4 things to know

Carson City, Nev.-based Carson Tahoe Health CEO Ed Epperson is retiring at the end of 2018, according to a Nevada Appeal report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Epperson assumed the CEO role at Carson Tahoe Health in 2001.

2. During his tenure, Carson Tahoe built a new 240-bed full-service replacement facility.

3. The hospital, which was previously owned by the city, also became private nonprofit entity under Mr. Epperson’s leadership.

4. The hospital expected to identify Mr. Epperson’s successor by September, allowing a few months to ensure a smooth transition prior to Mr. Epperson’s departure.
