Dr. Levine was a major player in a recent decision to outsource hospitalist services at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, a move which caused 20 physicians to leave the hospitalist program and render the hospital short-staffed, according to the report.
No reason was given for Dr. Levine’s resignation, according to the report.
