Carolinas HealthCare System Announces Chief Nursing Informatics Officer Role

Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System has appointed Nancy Olson, RN-BC, PhD, as chief nursing informatics officer, according to a hospital news release.

Ms. Olson is the system’s first CNIO and will be responsible for integrating health IT advancements with clinical nursing.
