Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center names Sue Shugart COO

Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, S.C., has announced the appointment of Sue Shugart as COO.

In this role, Ms. Shugart will have operational oversight of the hospital’s laboratory, pharmacy, imaging, cardiopulmonary, rehabilitation, food, environmental and engineering services, as well as security.

Ms. Shugart has 19 years of hospital leadership experience, most recently serving as chief administrative officer at Baptist Easley (S.C.) Hospital. Prior to that, she served as Chief Operating Officer for Clarendon Health System in Manning, S.C.
