Carle Health named Angie Hatfield Marker vice president of the Carle Health Center for Philanthropy, the Urbana, Ill.-based health system announced Aug. 21.
Ms. Hatfield Marker, currently executive director of development and campaigns at Carle Health, begins her new role Oct. 18. She was selected after an extensive search and succeeds Beth Katsinas, who retires Oct. 30 after nearly a decade leading the Center for Philanthropy.
Ms. Hatfield Marker has more than 25 years of experience in fundraising strategy and leadership. She has led campaign strategies, pipeline development and cross-regional coordination at Carle Health, and her work has helped the philanthropy team secure more than $30 million in support for The Campaign for Carle Health, a five-year, $60 million fundraising effort backing priorities across the system.

Leonard, MD, president and CEO of Carle Health, said in a statement. “Angie brings a collaborative approach, a deep understanding of our organization and a proven ability to bring people together around opportunities to make a difference.”
Ms. Hatfield Marker and Ms. Katsinas will work together during the transition to maintain momentum on current philanthropic efforts across every region Carle Health serves.
