Mr. Turnbull is a veteran of Carilion, joining the organization a decade ago to focus on external communications, according to a Jan. 27 news release.
Carilion includes eight hospitals, home health, imaging services, pharmacies, urgent care, freestanding surgical clinics and a physician group.
