In addition to overseeing systemwide fundraising efforts and the Carilion Clinic Foundation, Mr. Alee will assist with the health system’s $100 million campaign for a new cancer center.
Mr. Alee brings 30 years of philanthropy management experience to the position. He most recently served as executive director of philanthropy-medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He previously held development roles at Gainesville-based University of Florida Health, San Francisco-based Dignity Health and Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.
