CareMount Medical appoints chief population health officer: 3 things to know

CareMount Medical, an independent multi-specialty medical group based in Mount Kisco, N.Y., has appointed Kevin Conroy as Chief Population Health Officer, effective immediately.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Conroy.

1. Mr. Conroy joined CareMount in 2014 after two decades of healthcare financial and managerial experience, including serving as president of WellCare of New York Health Plan.

2. In addition to taking on his new role, Mr. Conroy will also continue serving as CFO of CareMount.

3. “We’re proud to have Kevin leading CareMount Medical’s population health initiative,” CareMount President and CEO Scott D. Hayworth, MD, said in a prepared statement. “His knowledge, his dedication to excellence, and his extensive experience working with both practices and payers are enormously helpful to our team and our patients.”
