CalvertHealth names new chief nursing officer 

Melissa Hall, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer and vice president of clinical affairs at CalvertHealth, based in Prince Frederick, Md.

In her new position, she will lead CalvertHealth’s intensive care unit, emergency department, surgical services and behavioral health, according to a Jan. 16 news release from the health system.   

Two decades into her nursing career, Ms. Hall came to CalvertHealth in 2014 and held leadership positions in nursing informatics and hospital administration before becoming CIO and associate vice president of information services in 2021. At that time, she took on more responsibility by overseeing clinical services including pharmacy, laboratory and radiology.
