California’s Santa Clara Medical Center Names CEO

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, Calif., has named Linda M. Smith as CEO, according to a San Jose Mercury News report.

Ms. Smith will begin work at the 574-bed hospital in February. Her position was newly created after other positions within the Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System were eliminated and streamlined.

Previously, Ms. Smith served as a hospital administrator of the Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Milwaukee.
