California hospital taps new CEO

Matthew Cova has been tapped as CEO of Regional Medical Center in San Jose, Calif.

In his new role, Mr. Cova will head structural and cultural transformation for the hospital while ensuring high quality care standards, according to a June 7 Regional Medical Center news release.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Cova served as COO of Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

Mr. Cova also served as COO of MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas.
