California hospital taps CFO from HCA

Southwest Healthcare Temecula (Calif.) Valley Hospital has named Zachary Johnson CFO.

In his new role, Mr. Johnson will oversee the financial operations of the hospital, including budgeting, financial planning, revenue cycle management and strategic fiscal initiatives, according to a Nov. 19 Southwest Healthcare news release. 

Mr. Johnson joins Temecula Valley Hospital after spending the past five years in financial leadership roles at hospitals owned by Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. He most recently served as CFO of Riverside (Calif.) Community Hospital and previously as CFO of San Antonio-based Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant.
