Sacramento-based California Hospital Association named Bryan Bucklew as its next president and CEO, effective Oct. 26.
Mr. Bucklew has served as president and CEO of Hospital Council–Northern & Central California since 2018, according to a Sept. 18 CHA news release.
In that role, Mr. Bucklew was the lead advocate for nearly half of California hospitals before municipal and county policymakers in 50 of California’s 58 counties. He has more than 20 years of hospital association experience.
Mr. Bucklew will succeed retiring California Hospital Association President and CEO Carmela Coyle, who has served California hospitals for nearly a decade.
The California Hospital Association represents nearly 400 member hospitals, health systems, networks and other providers of care.
