Mr. Rutherford became Wake Forest Baptist’s CFO in March 2014 after serving as CFO of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, a $2.7 billion health system in Columbus, since January 2011. He has more than 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience at large academic healthcare systems. Mr. Rutherford earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration at West Virginia University.
