The Buffalo (N.Y.) Niagara Medical Campus named Sam Marrazzo its first-ever chief innovation officer in September, The Buffalo News reports.

Mr. Marrazzo most recently served as CIO of the employment agency Superior Talent Resources. Prior to joining the firm, he served as director of technology solutions at Praxair, an industrial gases company, for 15 years.

"[The appointment at Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus] was an opportunity to work with the community, build a brand around innovation and really help companies and communities collaborate to drive more innovative approaches," Mr. Marrazzo told The Buffalo News.
