Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health tapped Thomas Kester, MSN, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer of Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale.

1. Previously, Mr. Kester served as CNO/COO as well as regional director of surgical services at Broward Health Imperial Point in Fort Lauderdale.

2. He was formerly manager of surgical services at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.

3. He earned his doctorate from Jacksonville, Fla.-based Chamberlain College of Nursing.
