Brian Nester, DO. President and CEO of Lehigh Valley Health Network (Allentown, Pa.). As president and CEO of LVHN, a role he began in November 2014, Dr. Nester oversees three hospitals with five campuses, a children’s hospital, nearly 1,000 physicians, 13,000 employees and 11 outpatient health centers. Prior to his appointment, he served as chief strategy officer at LVHN, was associate vice chair for the emergency department of medicine and senior vice president for physician hospital network development. Before joining LVHN, he held an academic post in emergency medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He is certified through the American College of Physician Executives and continues to practice at LVHN as a board-certified emergency physician.
