Bon Secours Kentucky Health System CEO Kevin Halter elected chairman of the Kentucky Hospital Association board: 4 things to know

Kevin Halter, CEO of Bon Secours Kentucky Health System in Ashland, has been elected and installed as chairman of the Kentucky Hospital Association’s board of trustees for 2015-16, according to The Independent.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Halter.

1. Mr. Halter has more than 30 years of executive healthcare leadership experience in areas such as strategic planning, operations, business development and management engineering, according to the report.

2. He joined BSKHS is 2004.

3. He became CEO of BSKHS in 2009 and previously was vice president of planning and operations.

4. Mr. Halter received a master’s degree in health administration from Xavier University in 1987 and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University.
