Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital appointed Mindy Shikiar, MSN, COO.

1. Ms. Shikiar came to Boca Raton Regional in 2003.
2. Since then, she has served in several executive roles, including as vice president of oncology services, ambulatory services and business development.
3. She previously served as CEO and COO at Kindred/Vencor Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
4. Ms. Shikiar is equipped with 35 years of healthcare experience, which includes nursing leadership roles.
5. She earned her MBA as well as her master of science in nursing degree from the University of Miami.
