Beth Israel Lahey Health hospital taps CFO

Exeter (N.H.) Hospital — part of Cambridge, Mass.-based Beth Israel Lahey Health — has named Steven Shaffer CFO, according to a LinkedIn post from an executive recruiter for the health system.  

Mr. Shaffer brings 30 years of experience to his new role, where he will oversee the finances of a 100-bed community hospital and a 170-physician practice group. 

His past experience includes serving as CFO of Littleton (N.H.) Regional Healthcare and CFO of Naples, Fla.-based ComForCare Home Health and Hospice. He also previously served as vice president of finance, value-based services for Premier Health Partners, the managed health organization owned by Dayton, Ohio-based Premier Health.
