1. Most recently, Mr. Avila served as vice president of operations at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

2. He came to HCA Midwest Health in 2012, initially serving as associate administrator and ethics and compliance officer at Lee’s Summit (Mo.) Medical Center.

3. He is a part of HCA’s Executive Development Program Class of 2017.

4. Mr. Avila earned his MBA degree at University of Missouri-Kansas City.
