Bellin Gundersen Health CFO resigns

Gerald Oetzel, CFO of the recently combined Wisconsin-based Bellin Gundersen Health system, has resigned from his position, effective Sept. 29.

Mr. Oetzel, who had been the CFO of La Crosse, Wis.-based Gundersen Health before the merger became effective Dec. 1, 2022, was initially selected as the CFO of the combined group.

His role will be assumed on an interim basis by Steven Little, who has previously served in similar roles at other Midwestern systems, St. Louis-based SSM Health and Milwaukee-based Froedtert Health. 

The two individual systems’ financial responsibilities will be under the leadership of Julie Graceffa at Green Bay, Wis.-based Bellin and Michelle Micka at Gundersen, both vice presidents of finance.
