Prior to the announcement, Ms. Jordan had been with Emory University and Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, serving as deputy general counsel and chief counsel for health affairs.
At Beaumont, Ms. Jordan will oversee all legal staff and resources of the eight-hospital system and will report to CEO John Fox. She succeeds Gordon Walker, who retired after a 34-year legal career.
