Bear Lake Memorial Hospital selects Michael Blauer as CEO

Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier, Idaho, has appointed Michael Blauer administrator/CEO, effective Sept. 1, according to The News-Examiner.

Mr. Blauer has more than 10 years of experience as CEO at several critical access hospitals in Oregon and Idaho. He has served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Mr. Blauer earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration from Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan.
