The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association has tapped Daniel Serrano to serve as CFO.
The president and CEO of the BCBS Association, Kim Keck, announced the update Sept. 14 on LinkedIn.
“With critical capabilities for this moment, including a practitioner’s orientation to data-driven financial management and a strong track record of aligning financial performance with operational outcomes, Dan is a great fit for our organization,” she said.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Serrano was most recently CFO of the ABA Centers of America, a healthcare company focused on applied behavior analysis therapy and autism care. Along with serving as CFO at other healthcare organizations, Mr. Serrano previously held leadership positions at Healthfirst and Aetna.
Christina Fisher previously filled Mr. Serrano’s role. She departed the association to serve as CFO at UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement, safety science organizations, her LinkedIn profile said.
