Baystate hospital names president and COO

Brandon Okezie was appointed president and COO of Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, Mass.

Mr. Okezie joined Baystate Noble on May 5 from The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he served as associate administrator, according to a hospital news release shared with Becker’s.

During his tenure at GWU, he is credited with overseeing operations for multiple support and ancillary services, as well as leading hospitalwide initiatives focused on service line growth, physician alignment and operational efficiency.

“Brandon is a dynamic and results-driven leader with a deep commitment to patient-centered care and operational excellence,” Baystate Health wrote in a Facebook post. “With experience leading complex hospital operations and driving service line growth, Brandon brings valuable expertise and energy to our team.”

Baystate Noble, a 65-bed acute care community hospital, is part of Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health.
