Baylor St. Luke’s names new VP of finance: 5 things to know

CHI St. Luke’s Health–Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston has named Paul Warda vice president of finance.

Here are five things to know about Mr. Warda.

1. He has more than two decades of experience in healthcare finance.

2. Most recently, Mr. Warda served as vice president and CFO of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington.

3. He will begin his new role Jan. 15, 2017.

4. In his new role, Mr. Warda will oversee financial operations of Baylor St. Luke’s, work closely with Texas Division finance colleagues, and provide support to the Baylor St. Luke’s Joint Venture Board of Directors and board committees, according to a news release.

5. Mr. Warda earned a Master of Business Administration in healthcare management from Regis University in Denver, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, from St. Bonaventure University in New York.
