Dover, Del.-based Bayhealth named Thomas (Mac) Marlow as vice president and chief digital and information officer, effective Jan. 5.
Mr. Marlow most recently served as associate vice president of technology operations at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He was also CIO of Southwestern Health Resources in Farmers Branch, Texas, an accountable care organization and clinically integrated network serving more than 700,000 eligible beneficiaries.
In his new role at Bayhealth, Mr. Marlow will oversee enterprise technology platforms, cybersecurity, analytics, and IT operations. He will also work closely with clinical and operational leaders to enhance workflows, digital infrastructure and patient experience across the health system.

With Mr. Marlow’s hiring, Bayhealth aims to become an early adopter of emerging technologies to improve care delivery and efficiency. Bayhealth has more than 5,000 team members across two hospitals and ambulatory locations.
