BayCare taps inaugural COO of women’s medical group

Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare named Nicole Johanson, MSN, RN, the inaugural leader of its women’s medical group.

Ms. Johanson now serves as vice president and COO of BayCare Women’s Medical Group, effective March 30. She oversees the strategy, operations and performance of the group, according to an April 1 system news release. She most recently served as president and COO of Growth Orthopedics.

The Women’s Medical Group is separate from BayCare Medical Group and will be a dedicated women’s health provider group that will complement the system’s women’s institute in addressing the full life cycle of women’s health needs.
