Prior to his new role, Mr. Richards served as COO of Phoenix-based Banner Medical Group, where he oversaw operations for more than 2,700 associates, providers and clinicians across six states.
Mr. Richards also served as Banner Medical Group’s executive director from 2021 to early 2023 and as its senior director of practice advancement from 2019 to 2021.
A nonprofit health system, BayCare comprises 16 hospitals and ambulatory services including laboratories, imaging, surgical centers, urgent care locations, wellness centers and BayCare Home Care, a home care agency. It has 29,403 employees, according to its website.
