1. Ms. Duncan is the hospital’s CFO. She will serve as both CFO and acting CEO until an interim or permanent appointment is made.
2. She worked at the hospital since January 2014.
3. She has more than 16 years of senior management experience in healthcare, and she helped lead the turnaround of two rural hospitals in Georgia.
4. She replaces Jerry Wise, who is leaving after the Hospital Authority of Habersham County’s board of directors voted to discontinue his services, Board Chairman Kim Crawford told The Northeast Georgian.
5. Ms. Crawford also said the hospital authority is seeking a CEO who is a “specialist in affiliations with more experience,” the report notes.
