Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit named Kathleen Carolin, RN, BSN, CNO.
Here are three points:
1. Ms. Carolin joined the center in 1997 as manager of patient care services in the Blood and Bone Marrow Stem Cell Transplant Program.
2. She has held a number of other leadership positions at the institute.
3. In this new role, Ms. Carolin will oversee both inpatient and outpatient oncology nursing as well as ambulatory clinics and their operations.
