Baptist Health’s chief strategy and marketing officer to retire: 4 notes

Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health’s Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer Andy Sears is retiring, effective March 1, 2017.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Sears began his career at Baptist Health in 1979.

2. He has served in positions of increasing responsibility, including as vice president of planning and system development prior to his current role.

3. Baptist Health owns and operates eight hospitals, serving patients in Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois and West Tennessee.   

4. Baptist Health employs approximately 17,000 employees including 1,000 physicians.
