Mr. Hanson has been with Arlington-based Texas Health Resources since 2005, most recently serving as executive vice president and regional operations leader. He has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience.
Mr. Hanson is replacing Tommy Smith, who announced his retirement in June 2012.
