Ned Resch has been named CEO of Banner Health in Northern Colorado, effective Jan. 25.
Mr. Resch will return to the health system after serving as president and CEO of Regional West Health Services in Scottsbluff, Neb., since early 2025, according to a Nov. 4 news release from Phoenix-based Banner Health.
He originally joined Banner Health in 2016, overseeing medical group operations in Wyoming and California. He was promoted to CEO of Platte County Hospital in Wheatland, Wyo., in 2019 and named CEO of Sterling (Colo.) Regional MedCenter in 2021.
Mr. Resch will succeed Margo Karsten, who serves as interim CEO in Northern Colorado and vice president of acute care for Banner’s Western Region.
Banner Health operates 33 hospitals and more than 400 sites across six states.
