Ballad Health selects new chief HR officer: 3 points

Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health named Deborah Dover senior vice president of talent engagement and chief human resources officer, effective in late April.

The health system was formed by the merger of Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System and Johnson City-based Mountain States Health Alliance.

Here are three points:

1. Ms. Dover joins Ballad Health from Owosso, Mich.-based Memorial Healthcare, where she was vice president of human resources.

2. She also previously served as corporate director of human resources at Mountain States Health Alliance.

3. She holds an MBA from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City.
