Avery Cloud, CIO of New Hanover Regional Medical Center, steps down

Avery Cloud, CIO of New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C., has stepped down to accept a new position in Houston, according to a Star News Online report.

Mr. Cloud has led NHRMC’s technology department for the past ten years, guiding the hospital through its electronic health record implementation process, according to the report.

Chief technology officer Joe Norris has been selected as interim CIO, according to the report.
