Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, Wis., has named Gary Collins, MD, CMO, effective in August.
Here are three things to know about Dr. Collins.
1. He currently is a fellowship trained surgical critical care physician at Regions Hospital, a 454-bed tertiary care medical center in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
2. Dr. Collins holds numerous administrative roles at Regions Hospital including medical director quality/safety, medical director surgical intensive care unit, assistant medical director HealthPartners Medical Group and chief of surgery.
3. He earned a medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, which has campuses in Duluth, Minn., and Minneapolis. Dr. Collins also earned a master's degree in business administration from St. Thomas in Minneapolis.
