Augusta University Medical Center names CEO: 4 things to know

Lee Ann Liska has been named executive vice president for health affairs and CEO of Augusta (Ga.) University Medical Center, effective Aug. 22.

Here are four things to know about Ms. Liska.

1. In her new role, she will lead the AU Medical Center, including the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, and provide executive oversight for AUHealth Roosevelt Warm Springs Rehabilitation and Specialty Hospitals, Georgia Correctional Healthcare and the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home, according to AU Medical Center.

2. Prior to joining AU Medical Center, she was president and CEO of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

3. She served as adjunct professor at Xavier University in Cincinnati and guest lecturer at University of Cincinnati.

4. Ms. Liska earned an executive master’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University.
