Augusta University Medical Center CEO Lee Ann Liska resigns

Lee Ann Liska, CEO of Augusta (Ga.) University Medical Center and executive vice president of health affairs at Augusta University, has resigned, effective June 6, according to The Augusta Chronicle.

Ms. Liska assumed the top post at the medical center in August 2016. University officials declined to comment further, telling the Chronicle that it does not discuss personnel matters.

During her tenure, Ms. Liska oversaw several facilities, including Children’s Hospital of Georgia, Georgia Correctional Healthcare and Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home, all based in Augusta, as well as Roosevelt Warm Springs (Ga.) Rehabilitation and Specialty Hospitals.

Ms. Liska serves on the boards of the American Heart Association and United Way, according to the report.
