Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health named Jim Dunn, PhD, chief human resources officer, effective April 16.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Dunn currently serves as executive vice president and chief talent officer at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas.
2. He also previously served in leadership roles at Cleveland Clinic and Texas Health Resources in Arlington.
3. He served in adjunct professor roles at institutions such as Boston-based Harvard School of Public Health and Atlanta-based Emory University.
4. He holds an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Mass., and a PhD in organization development and management from Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.
