Atrium Health Navicent taps president

Rashard Johnson was appointed president of Atrium Health Navicent, part of Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health.

In his new role, Mr. Johnson leads facilities in central Georgia, including Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin in Milledgeville, and Atrium Health Navicent Peach in Byron, according to an Oct. 29 news release. 

He brings a wealth of leadership experience across hospitals in Chicago, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. Most recently, he served as president of Atrium Health’s south market, leading teams at several North Carolina hospitals, according to the release.

Atrium Health Navicent, part of Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health, provides care in 53 specialties at more than 50 facilities in the Southeast.
