Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus Health has named Bryan Harkness, BSN, RN, as chief administrative officer and director of nursing for Aspirus Iron (Mich.) River Hospital and Clinics.
Mr. Harkness brings more than 13 years of healthcare experience, including 10 years in progressive leadership roles. He began his career as a registered nurse before transitioning into nursing and operational leadership, according to a Nov. 18 health system news release.
He most recently served as chief nursing officer at Ottumwa (Iowa) Regional Health Center, where he led service line growth and development in a rural setting.
