Tripp Owings has been named CEO of Wichita, Kan.-based Ascension Via Christi, effective July 6, according to a June 5 LinkedIn post.
In his new role, Mr. Owings will oversee six hospitals, more than 5,650 employees and more than 75 care sites across Kansas.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Owings served as CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. He also served as CEO of HCA’s Medical Center of Trinity (Fla.), according to his LinkedIn page.
