1. As market executive of the Texas Ministry, Mr. Garza is president and CEO of Seton Healthcare Family in Austin, Texas, and oversees the Providence Healthcare Network in Waco, Texas.
2. He was named Texas market executive in 2016, before which he was Seton Healthcare Family COO.
3. Prior to joining Seton and Ascension, his roles included serving as a deputy general manager for the Lower Colorado River Authority and city manager for the City of Austin.
4. The Federal Reserve Board of Governors appointed Mr. Garza to the bank’s San Antonio Branch Board of Directors for a three-year term. He also serves on the American Hospital Association Governing Council.
5. Ascension has initiated a nationwide search for Mr. Garza’s replacement.
